Guide for Using Ordinal Inscription Bot Commands

1. Checking the Fee: /fee {size-image}

  • Purpose: To find out how much it will cost to inscribe your digital asset.

  • Usage: Type /fee followed by the size of your image. For example, if your image is 500KB, you type /fee 500000.

  • Result: The bot will respond with the estimated fee in Bitcoin for inscribing your item.

2. Creating an Inscription: /create

  • Purpose: To start the inscription process.

  • Usage:

    • First, send a message with /create. The bot will respond with instructions.

    • You'll need to send your digital asset to the bot, following the given instructions.

    • After sending your item, you'll be asked to pay the inscription fee (the bot will tell you how much).

  • Result: Once you pay, the bot will begin the process of inscribing your item onto a Bitcoin.

3. Checking Your Order: /check {order number}

  • Purpose: To check the status of your inscription order.

  • Usage: Type /check followed by your order number. For example, /check 12345.

  • Result: The bot will provide the current status of your order, like if it's still processing, completed, or if there's an issue that needs your attention.

4. Deploying a BRC-20: /deploy {ticker} {supply} {deployerBTCAddress}

  • Purpose: Deploy BRC-20 Token.

  • Usage: Type /deploy followed by the ticket supply and deployerBTCAddresss. For example, /deploy OIB 100 btcx.

  • Result: Once you pay OIB will deploy your BRC-20 so you can start minting.

5. Minting a BRC-20: /mint {ticker}{receiverBTCAddress}

  • Purpose: Mint BRC-20 Token.

  • Usage: Type /mint followed by the ticket supply and receiverBTCAddresss. For example, /mint OIB btcx.

  • Result: Once you pay the bitcoin fees, you will receive the quantity of BRC-20 you minted.

6. Transfering a BRC-20: /transfer {ticker}{senderBTCAddress} {receiverBTCAddress}

  • Purpose: Transfer BRC-20 Token.

  • Usage: Type /transfer followed by the ticket supply, senderBTCAddress and receiverBTCAddresss. For example, /transfer OIB btc1 btc2.

  • Result: Once you pay the fees to transfers, the BRC-20 will be transferred from one account to other account.

Tips:

  • Always Double-Check: Before sending any Bitcoin, double-check the fee and the instructions provided by the bot.

  • Size Matters: The size of your digital item can affect the cost, so try to keep it within reasonable limits.

  • Patience is Key: Inscribing can take some time depending on the network, so be patient.
